Directional Alternative Learning Provision
Following the success of working in schools and existing alternative learning provisions, in October 2019 Directional CIC opened its own alternative learning provision located just outside of Luton. The aim is to create a relaxed working environment for students who have struggles in mainstream school and would benefit from a more personalised learning approach. Whilst there are high standards and expectations for students, there is also an opportunity for great individual growth as teaching is tailored to the needs of the students with additional support from personal mentors provided.
Classroom-based and sports-centred.
By providing lessons that are both in the classroom and outside for physical activity we aim to provide a holistic approach in education to maintain engagement.
AQA Units.
We deliver AQA units, 16x16, PSHE, Life Skills and Young Leaders Awards through a range of methods suited to students needs.
