Directional CIC has been involved with numerous local events and delivers talks, presentations and assembly’s to both young people and professionals.

Presentations & Assemblies.

At both our own events and speaking as a guest at events, we aim to give participants a better understanding of the issues young people face today, or to build motivation and raise aspirations of young people.

Specialising in Gangs and Grooming, Directional hope that these presentations will help professionals to identify potential exploitation earlier and provide them with essential techniques to help or assist young people who are vulnerable to criminal exploitation.

Bridging the Gap

Bridging the Gap is a half day training course for professionals, parents/carers and community members.

The aim is to help anyone working or coming into contact with young people to identify potential grooming and to recognise early signs of gang or criminal involvement.

We will provide lived experiences to help trainees to understand what young people may be going through and what may cause them to demonstrate bad behaviour. The training will give advice and techniques on how to deal with negative behaviour, whether it be in the classroom, the home or in the community.

Below are some of the things we deliver on “Bridging the Gap”…
